All Gecko engineers are trade qualified with a minimum of 10 years experience. Gecko believes that you must employ qualified people, and train them in the Gecko specialist procedures.

General Manager- Bill Lauenstein

The Manager of our company, Bill Lauenstein has been in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry since 1977. His extensive industry knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration system design, commissioning, repair and diagnostic maintenance. Having been in Brisbane since transferring frim Port Moresby in 1977 to attend his dream of becoming an air conditioning specialist, Bill served his apprenticeship with Mark Horn Services where he gained his air conditioning diagnostic abilities.

In March 1982 Bill established his 1st air conditioning Company "Bills Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Pty Ltd" trading as Bills Efficiency Air and then Efficiency Air. The company diversified over the years from the initial maintenance of air conditioning to: refrigeration commercial & industrial, air conditioning design and sheet metal manufacturing of ducting.
